We visited Best Western Mercedes in Paris for the first time in 2018, and had a lovely stay. Unfortunately, we did not leave a review then, but our wish to come back explains how much we loved it! This time, five years later, we came back for our honeymoon, and wooow did we like it! Malou, a beyond kind receptionist, made us a beautiful surprise! We got a room upgrade and lovely decorations in our room, with chocolates, balloons, hearts all over, and a mesh bag as a present! It is not easy to describe how lovely it was and how excited we were, so please, look at pictures. Malou is a keeper, dear Best Western, and deserves all the credit she can get from you! The rest of staff was also extremely helpful, kind and capable. We did stay in a small room, but believe me, more than enough for a lovely stay: large enough and comfortable bed, nice bathroom, AC and we got a beautiful view from hotel’s 6th floor (thank you!). I see that people also commented on elevator: it is small, true, but it runs well and you don’t have to wait for it for a long time, not that busy, even though the hotel was quite full. For those who are capable of walking and who like to walk, stairs are wide and not that many, actually. The location was fine by us: really nice part of the city, close to metro. We were walking for all of the attractions, so it was possible to get to the Arc de Triomphe (approximately 15 min. walk), the Eiffel Tower (approximately 40 min. walk), and even the Notre Dame (1h 20 min walk) by feet, if you prefer walking. The breakfast was lovely as well! At first, one would think that the diversity is not large, but more than enough, with fresh baguettes, cheeses and hams of different sort, eggs (boiled snd scrambled), croissants, pain au chocolate, fruits, tomatos, desserts, different coffees, and much more! Tasty it was, indeed! In the conclusion, we really recommend this hotel for couples and single travellers! Lovely stay!

We spent 4 days in the hotel, our room was on the 2nd floor. Hotel finished in ARC DECO style. The service was very professional and nice. The elevator is small (but that's a Parisian charm), but we mainly used the stairs. The room and bathroom were quite large, it was very clean. Additionally, the room had a coffee machine, tea bags and drinking water. Other sweet drinks and snacks are charged additionally. Warm and moody lighting in the room. We didn't use the breakfast option because we like to eat out. Near the hotel, I can recommend the Boulanger Patissier Chocolatier bakery or Cafe Brasserie L'Insolite (Cafe&Croissant EUR 2.60!!! with extra juice EUR 6.80). The hotel is located very close to the WAGRAM metro station(nr 3). There are many restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies close to the hotel. The area is very clean, beautiful. We feel safe. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe.

We stayed in the family suite which is situated at the top of the hotel. Room 720. The suite has two floors with your bed on a platform overlooking Paris from the windows. The decor is stunning and quirky. It’s a great place to relax and spend time in the hotel. The room made our stay. Fantastic. We stayed at this hotel 20 years ago and it brought back the memories of attending the first time. Breakfast is on floor -1 and provides a good continental option. The seating, lifts and stairs can be narrow in the hotel which I feel ads to it’s charm but if you struggle with mobility I’d consider other options. The staff were helpful and happy. No complaints from me and I will be returning in the future. A little jewel in the centre of Paris. Highly recommended!

Fabulous rooms. We were upgraded to the higher category of room during check-in, and they also gave us 2 rooms close together as requested for our family. Beds and pillows were so comfortable. Air conditioning worked really well, super water pressure in the showers. There is an elevator albeit small, which was much appreciated. Free coffee and detox water in the lobby which we loved. Also loved the decor in the rooms and common areas. Location was quiet and away from the crowds - A fabulous bakery across the road with the best croissants. A Coop right underneath which had an amazing salad bar, and was very convenient to pick up snacks.

The room was wonderful art deco design. Very clean, super comfy bed and great bathroom. It was great to have our towels refreshed even though we only stayed for 2 nights. The location was amazing, with convenience stores on the main street for any essentials like bottled water and fresh fruit as we were visiting in the middle of summer. A 20 min walk to the 'Arc de Triumph. 2 minute walk to fabulous french bistro - "Gabrielle" and a boulonger just across the road, not to mention an easy 2 min walk to the metro. The staff were also very friendly and extremely helpful.
